West Kelowna Minor Baseball is grateful to each of our sponsors and corporate partners. Their contributions of money, time, and labour greatly assist us in maintaining equipment, providing awards, and ensuring each of our baseball players has the best experience possible while playing ball on our diamonds. If you require a service they offer we hope you will give them your consideration:

Just4Fun – Most of us know West Kelowna’s premier indoor play-place as a great spot for parents to relax with a hot cup of coffee and chat with other adults while the kids run around having a blast. But for the juice box and fishy-cracker set, Just4Fun is the place to be. Its name embodies everything our 7U program stands for: just having fun, and we’re thrilled to present the Just4Fun Rookie League, where your future big leaguer can start their path to baseball glory. Be sure to visit Just4Fun on Facebook or Instagram to see how your Rookie League All-Star can score free passes.

Locally owned and globally significant, WTFast gives a boost to our 13U and 15U baseballers and streamlines your online video game experience by providing a smoother, more responsive network connection. Friday, April 30th 7:30pm – via Zoom Video Webinar

West Kelowna Minor Baseball is proud to present BC Minor Baseball High Performance Coach Brad Robinson’s seminar, ‘Coaching People First.’

Volunteering to be a coach or parent leader for your son or daughter’s baseball team is a fun and rewarding challenge, but it can also be a bit intimidating having a dozen future stars staring eagerly back at you. As coaches and leaders, we strive to provide the best baseball instruction to our groups of players who possess a wide range of skill levels. However, as coaches it can be challenging to navigate the personalities that can be as diverse as our team’s physical abilities. Brad’s seminar goes beyond running drills or planning practices and focuses on communication and motivation strategies. It delves into the inner workings of our little leaguers, specifically how they process information, how they learn, and how that might affect their performance and behaviour. With the uncertainties surrounding Covid- 19 it is more important than ever that our baseball diamonds be a safe place where they are challenged to be not only the best baseball players they can be, but also the best citizens, and to have the most fun that they can possibly have in the process. ‘Coaching people First’ is designed for coaches at all levels. Whether you are a parent teaching at home, a parent leader starting out in t-ball, or coaching a college prep team, this seminar will provide a valuable tool to add to your coaching toolbox.

All Coaches, parent leaders, and parents of the West Kelowna Minor Baseball Association are invited to join us this Friday, April 30th at 7:30 pm from the comfort of your computer, tablet, or phone. The webinar is approximately 60 minutes and will include a question-and-answer period at the end. Please use the link below to join the webinar.
